Over the past two months, Italy House Hunting has been mainly active in central Italy, specifically in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, and Tuscany, but also in the north, in the province of Turin in Piedmont.

apartments in Vergemoli (LU)
In April, we assisted Dutch clients with home viewings in the province of Lucca in Tuscany. They found their dream home (actually two at once) in Vergemoli. The furnished apartments have been recently renovated in an authentic rustic style and are therefore in excellent condition. Moreover, the owner's documents are in good order, allowing us to go to the notary before the summer. Our clients can look forward to a summer vacation in their own holiday home.

House in Meana di Susa (TO)
In Meana di Susa, in Piedmont, less than 60 km from Turin and exactly 1.000 km from their home in the Netherlands, other buyers had spotted a stunning, recently renovated house with modern installations, including solar panels on the roof. These clients can also go to the notary public before the summer, so they are also looking forward to a summer vacation in their own home in Italy.

holiday home in Riolunato (MO)
From the mountainous Piedmont, we moved to the mountainous region of the province of Modena in Emilia-Romagna. Here too, our clients chose a recently renovated furnished home. The location is a small, picturesque hamlet at an altitude of 885m, 2 km from the town of Riolunato and 4 km from the ski lifts of the small ski area Le Polle, which is part of the larger Monte Cimone ski area. The collaboration with the real estate agency Essere in Montagna went smoothly, and yes, here too, the appointment with the notary is scheduled before the summer.

apartment in San Bartolomeo al Mare
We closed out the month of May with a satisfied American client. After initial viewings in Sanremo, Carmen decided that Sanremo's parking problems were too much of an obstacle for her to purchase a property in this Ligurian seaside resort. We resumed our search, including smaller seaside towns in the province of Imperia, and finally we found a suitable property in the relatively quiet town of San Bartolomeo al Mare. This time, too, a furnished property, ready to move into, and also Carmen will close before the summer.
